Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Chief Technology Officer Kyle Berger has been named a winner of the 2024 EdTech Awards in the trend setter category for school leaders. Berger was also named a finalist in the overall school leader category. 

“This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of my team in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD as we strive to transform education through innovative technology solutions,” Berger said, reflecting on this accomplishment. 

Berger has been GCISD’s chief technology officer since 2017, and he has worked in K-12 technology leadership in Texas school districts of various sizes and demographics. He has received numerous national awards and was named among the Top 100 Influencers by Edtech Digest. His work in GCISD includes overseeing bond program technology implementation, technology deployments, district technology revitalizations and the development of eSports programs.

Celebrating its 14th year, the US-based EdTech Awards program is the world's largest recognition program for education technology. The EdTech Awards were established in 2010 to recognize, acknowledge and celebrate the most exceptional innovators, leaders and trendsetters in education technology.
