PTA members standing holding banner of national recognition

PTAs at Bear Creek Elementary, Bransford Elementary, Dove Elementary, Grapevine Elementary, Colleyville Middle (redesignation) and Grapevine Middle schools were named 2022-2024 National PTAs Schools of Excellence. The recognition was awarded by the National PTA for building strong partnerships between families and their school that are enriching the educational experience and overall well-being for all students.

“We highly value our partnership with our GCISD PTAs,” stated Superintendent Dr. Brad Schnautz. “Their dedication, involvement and unwavering support enhances the educational experiences for our students. Together, we are shaping a brighter future for our students, and we deeply appreciate the commitment and passion of our PTA members.”

PTAs apply to be considered for the recognition. During the yearlong application process, PTAs collect feedback from their school communities to create and implement plans of action to improve family engagement and make a difference for every child. The program opens the lines of communication and critical thinking within school communities to make data-driven decisions that yield positive, long-term results.
