Today, June 12, TELPAS scores will be released for listening/speaking and reading/writing for grades K-12 emergent bilingual students. On June 14, STAAR results for grades 3-8 reading/language arts, math, science, and social studies will be released. Families can access their children’s results through Skyward Family Portal on the release dates: https://skyweb.gcisd.net/.

Ahead of this week’s NBA Finals, Dallas Mavericks player Dereck Lively II gave Brittany Cohen’s second grade class at Glenhope Elementary a shout out during a press conference. Lively learned about Mrs. Cohen’s class after hearing how she teaches math lessons based on the Dallas Mavericks. Be sure to watch the 6 a.m. WFAA 8 newscast Thursday, June 6, to see her in action and hear from students. Thank you to Dereck Lively for making their school year so awesome! Go Mavs!

This includes transfer requests for children of residents of Colleyville or Grapevine currently zoned for a neighboring school district, children of employees from the cities of Colleyville or Grapevine, grandchildren of GCISD residents or any students who do not live within GCISD applying for Collegiate Academy.

Due to a power outage at Silver Lake Elementary School, the summer food service program will only be available at Timberline Elementary School tomorrow, June 3, 2024. Breakfast will be served from 7:30-8 a.m., and lunch is available from 11:30-12 p.m.
