Last night, Main Street was filled with holiday spirit during the 45th Annual Parade of Lights, hosted by the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce and the City of Grapevine. GCISD students, staff and families lit up the parade route with beautiful festive floats that brought the holiday cheer. The Grapevine-Colleyville Association of Retired School Employees (GCARSE) recently presented five first-year teachers with $100 grants. Applications were sent by GCARSE to each first-year teacher with the opportunity to apply and the GCARSE committee selected the following teachers to each receive $100.

Did you know today is Education Support Professionals (ESP) Day? It’s a day to celebrate the incredible GCISD support staff who make our schools such wonderful places to work and learn. Take a moment to say ‘thank you’ to our custodians, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, nurses and paraprofessionals to help them feel truly appreciated. #WeAreGCISD

At tonight's girls' basketball games, GCISD athletics is partnering with the Grace Christmas Cottage to spread holiday cheer! Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the CHHS or GHS girls home basketball game and receive free admission for one person. Games start with JV at 5 p.m., so come out, enjoy the action and share the joy of giving! #WeAreGCISD

These brilliant minds, part of the school’s parent-organized after-school chess club, showcased their skills in strategy and logical thinking during this exciting event.
