If you are a GCISD resident who is 65 years or older, please join us at the GCISD Administration Building at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, to hear an informational session from the district and earn your Gold Card. Meeting attendees will receive free general admission to all athletic events (excluding playoffs), theatrical productions and musical events hosted by GCISD.

GCISD will have a Voter-Approved Tax Ratification Election (VATRE) on the November 5 ballot, where voters will consider a three-cent increase to the Maintenance & Operations (M&O) tax rate.

Fifty-three Grapevine-Colleyville ISD students have earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs, which include the National African American Recognition Award (NAARA), National Hispanic Recognition Award (NHRA), National Rural and Small Town Award (NRSTA), National Indigenous Award (NIA) and new in 2024, National First Generation Recognition Award (NFGRA). Dove Elementary recently held a New Student Lunch Bunch. To create a welcoming school environment, Bear Creek Elementary created a Goldilocks-themed area in the school’s vestibule, thanks to donations from Graceful Buys and administrative team members. Since BCES is a No Excuses University School, visitors will find a story about the bears visiting Goldilocks’ college living room, which resembles the furniture in the vestibule.
