Today, GCISD Collegiate Academy was recognized by the Texas State Board of Education in Austin for earning the National Blue Ribbon School distinction, announced earlier this school year. They are one of 31 schools in the state that achieved this prestigious recognition. Congratulations to Collegiate Academy! Big week for Collegiate Academy applicants! Acceptance letters are being distributed all week at the middle schools. We are excited for the Class of 2029
With the accumulation of snow today, and anticipated below-freezing temperatures overnight, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD will be closed Friday, January 10, 2025. All facilities will be closed and any scheduled practices and activities are also canceled. Any changes to weekend extracurricular activities will be communicated by the group’s sponsor or coach.
GCISD’s 2024-2025 instructional calendar has a sufficient number of minutes to cover this weather-related closure and the days will not have to be made up. Have a safe and warm weekend, and we look forward to welcoming our staff and students back on Monday, January 13!
