With the accumulation of snow today, and anticipated below-freezing temperatures overnight, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD will be closed Friday, January 10, 2025. All facilities will be closed and any scheduled practices and activities are also canceled. Any changes to weekend extracurricular activities will be communicated by the group’s sponsor or coach.
GCISD’s 2024-2025 instructional calendar has a sufficient number of minutes to cover this weather-related closure and the days will not have to be made up. Have a safe and warm weekend, and we look forward to welcoming our staff and students back on Monday, January 13!

The celebrations continue for GCISD’s Collegiate Academy at Tarrant County College Northeast, which was recently named one of just 356 schools in the 2024 cohort of National Blue Ribbon Schools! The school was honored at the National Blue Ribbon Schools Awards Ceremony in Washington, D.C., on November 7 and 8. #WeAreGCISD

Our final Phoenix on Fire for October is Ruhani Nellutla for Hard Work. Ruhani is 100% in on everything she does. She works hard in all her classes and always has a positive attitude!
The next October Phoenix on Fire Award goes to Sheyla Perez for her hard work! Sheyla consistently takes charge of her education and remains focused and driven, always looking for ways to improve herself.
Next up for our October Phoenixes on Fire is Ramiro Anaya, who is being recognized for his Gratitude! Ramiro is very polite and shows appreciation when he receives help from teachers. He is always looking for ways to help others.
