It’s Silver Lake Elementary School’s second Experience Design Week of the school year, and this year’s theme is “Factory: Gearing Up for Success.” Parents and staff decorated the hallways while teachers designed creative, curriculum-connected lessons in the classrooms. Examples include a snow factory for a weather lesson, a candy factory where students practiced fractions and a book factory where students wrote creative stories. #WeAreGCISD

Last night was Timberline Elementary School’s 2025 Art Showcase, which was inspired by a study about Spain. The event, attended by families and students, began with Timberline ambassadors leading guests through the school hallways highlighting this year’s magnificent artwork by pre-K through fifth grade students and closed with performances by the school’s ballet folklorico, a guest student singer from Grapevine High School’s choir and a fashion show that included attire worn by flamenco dancers and bullfighters.

Today, Colleyville Elementary School traveled the world during its cultural celebration! Students learned about various countries from fellow students, parents and community members. They enjoyed exploring the language, music, food and artifacts showcased from around the globe.
