If you are planning on attending tonight's Grapevine High School Homecoming Parade, please see the latest update!
GHS is looking forward to the homecoming parade this evening! Unfortunately, the Texas weather continues its pattern of being unpredictable, and we know that there is the potential for some scattered storms within the metroplex this evening. We are closely monitoring the weather and will update our community if anything changes, but unless you hear otherwise from us, the homecoming parade is still scheduled to begin promptly at 6 p.m.
As an added precaution, should a storm pop up in the area, the City of Grapevine has committed to having spaces along the parade route available for our attendees to gather if there is a need to suspend parade activities.
Thank you for your cooperation and support as we prepare for another memorable homecoming at GHS!

The now homecoming king of Colleyville Heritage High School, Zakai Clay, is wheelchair-bound and requires a handicap-accessible van to get to events. When he needed a ride to the homecoming football game, GCISD Transportation didn't hesitate to help him make his appearance at not only the game, but to the dance the following evening, where he was officially crowned king since the game was canceled due to lightning just prior to the announcement.
Zakai and his fellow court nominees will be also honored at tonight's football game, set for at 7 p.m. at Mustang Panther Stadium, with the help once again of GCISD Transportation staff. #WeAreGCISD
