This week, Heritage Elementary School is celebrating the holidays with its annual Holiday House market. All students get to shop for presents for their friends and family while using math skills to determine what they can purchase with their money. It’s a perfect way to combine their counting skills and help them find joy in giving to others. #WeAreGCISD

This week is School Psychology Week, and we want to thank our school psychologists for all they do for our students. Our psychologists work with staff to help students be more successful in their academics, behavioral choices, social skills, and emotional management. Working collaboratively with parents and staff, they examine issues that may contribute to student difficulties and then develop and provide interventions and supports specific to each student and situation. Our psychologists are an integral part of our schools.
