This week, Heritage Elementary School hosted a Career Day on Wheels! Legacy Ready Mix demonstrated cement production, and Grapevine Water Works showcased the water purification processes and explained fire hydrants. A Fort Worth Police Corporal discussed police officer training, allowed students to explore a police vehicle and introduced students to a K-9 unit. It was a fun and engaging day!

Last week, first graders from Heritage Elementary School dressed up as their favorite book characters and paraded around the school. It was a fantastic way to share numerous wonderful stories with fellow students. #WeAreGCISD
Members of Grapevine High School's competitive Robotics teams recently had the privilege of visiting Lockheed Martin to observe the production line of the F-35 fighter jet. Combat systems manager Lonnie Dong made this remarkable learning experience possible, which fewer than 1% of the US population will experience firsthand. It inspired the next generation of engineers and motivated them to ensure that our country remains technologically advanced.
