Final Exams are quickly approaching as we head into December. Here is the final exam schedule for December 13, 14, and 15. You can also find more information about final exams in the "News" section of the CHHS website.


Tonight, the CHHS football team plays against Abilene Cooper in the next round of playoffs. They play at 7 p.m. at Newsom Stadium (3700 E Broad St, Mansfield, TX 76063). Come out and support your Panthers on their road to state! #WeAreGCISD


Today is a big day for CHHS! The volleyball team will face Liberty Hill and play for a spot in the UIL 5A State final match. The game is at 11 a.m. Friday, November 17, at Curtis Culwell Center (4999 Naaman Forest Blvd, Garland, TX 75040). Come out and cheer on your Lady Panthers! #WeAreGCISD

Parents, if you plan on attending the Red Ribbon Week Pep Rally at 8:50 a.m. on Friday, October 27, you will need to check in at one of the front entrance security kiosks first, to get a visitor's badge. This requires a government-issued ID to verify your identity.
If you want to skip the line, then submit a Visitor Fast Pass Request (https://bit.ly/46NGugA) by noon the day before the start of the event. A staff member will meet you at the door with your pre-printed visitor's badge.
**Note** Guest parking is in the front drive. Numbered spots are reserved for CHHS staff. All guests must enter through the front of the building.

All buses have been able to begin their routes and we are expecting no more than a 15 minute delay. Thank you!

This morning, the fire alarm was going off at GCISD's Transportation Building as bus drivers were arriving. The fire department is on the scene and staff is currently waiting for the all clear. However, all bus routes across the district will be delayed this morning. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

GCISD’s Nutrition Services is pleased to announce that parents can now download the MySchoolBucks app to make online prepayments on their child’s school meal account and view transactions. There is a $2.75 processing fee for each transaction.

Are you ready for GCISD’s annual College and Career Night? On October 17 from 7-8:30 p.m., Grapevine High School will host over 120 universities, many junior colleges and technical schools, as well as members from the military. #WeAreGCISD

This year, all high school students, regardless of whether they are taking the PSAT or not, will be expected to report to school at their regular start time of 8:40 a.m. All absences on this day will be documented as normal and will be factored into the requirements for exam exemptions.

Reminder: Monday, October 9, is a student and teacher holiday. This includes all schools except Collegiate Academy. The District office will remain open, and we will welcome everyone back to school on Tuesday, October 10. Enjoy the three-day weekend.


Today, the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce welcomed Dr. Schnautz to share a district update and Colleyville Heritage High School Senior Brady Fox to describe how his experience as a student in GCISD has prepared him for life beyond high school. October 2 is World Bullying Prevention Day. Join GCISD in wearing blue shirts and boots to kick off the 17th Annual World Day of Bullying Prevention. #WeAreGCISD


Join the GCISD Counseling team on October 24 in the Professional Development & Education Center to hear a presentation by the Stay on Track Coalition. From 6-8 p.m. parents will have the chance to learn about signs of drug and alcohol use. This presentation is for parents only. #WeAreGCISD
