On March 26, the Colleyville Heritage High School and Grapevine High School girls soccer teams both won their games, which advanced them to the UIL 5A regional semifinals.
After regulation time, overtime and two rounds of penalty kicks, the CHHS Panthers defeated Burleson Centennial. The GHS Mustangs claimed their area championship by shutting out Fort Worth South Hills 7-0.
Both teams will play for a spot in the regional finals on Friday, March 28.

Colleyville Heritage vs. Amarillo Tascosa - 5 p.m., Friday, March 28, at Wylie High School in Abilene.
Grapevine vs. Lubbock Monterey - 3 p.m., Friday, March 28, at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene.
