GCISD’s Communications Department was recently recognized with 15 Star Awards, presented by the Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) for outstanding education communications and projects.
The awards for work produced throughout the 2023-2024 school year were presented Wednesday, February 19, at the organization’s annual conference. In addition to one entry being named a Platinum Award Finalist, GCISD Communications came away with 11 Gold Star Awards, two of which earned a “Best of Category,” and three Silver Star Awards. Every member of the team was recognized with at least one gold award, which qualified them for Best of Category in their respective categories.
