Congratulations to the Parent Teacher Associations (PTA) at Colleyville Heritage High School and Heritage Elementary School for receiving the 2023-2025 National PTA Schools of Excellence designation. CHHS is a first-time honoree and Heritage Elementary has received the designation three times, in 2019-21, 2020-22 and now in 2023-2025.
“I couldn’t be prouder of our Panther PTSA,” Principal Derek Cain stated. “At the high school level, it might be easy to not have a PTSA that is as connected, but here that is not the case. Our Panther parents are present and visible supporters of our students and staff and willing to help our campus any way they can. We couldn’t ask for a more excellent PTSA.”
HES Principal Jill Hemme also praised her school’s PTA.
“Our HES PTA is truly the best,” she stated. “Their goal is to connect and engage with all families in the community. They are always thinking of creative ways to make the learning environment fun for students and staff. It is a true partnership between the PTA and our school. I am so very thankful that I get to work as a team with this group.”
The National PTA Schools of Excellence designation is presented to recognize partnerships between local PTAs and their schools as they enrich the educational experience and overall well-being for all students.
