GCISD is proud to announce that Dr. Bryan Calvert was named the Principal of Colleyville Middle School at the May 20 Board of Trustees Meeting.
Calvert is currently the Principal at Bear Creek Elementary, where he has led the campus since 2016. Prior to coming to GCISD, he served as an assistant principal, campus athletic director, and special education teacher in Irving ISD.
“Dr. Calvert is a passionate and dedicated educator who leads with purpose and sets his employees and students up for success,” Superintendent Dr. Brad Schnautz said. “I am eager to witness the continued positive impact of his work as he progresses in his journey within the district.”

“I am incredibly grateful that I have been able to be a part of GCISD for the past eight years,” Calvert said. “I’ve loved my time as Principal of Bear Creek and I am honored to have the opportunity to join Colleyville Middle School. CMS has an outstanding reputation and I am excited for this next adventure. I can not wait to work with the amazing staff, students and families at CMS! Go Colts!”
