On April 10, Collegiate Academy was awarded advancing play status at the Area round of the UIL One-Act Play Competition. Additionally, five students received individual awards. CA will now perform at the UIL 3A-Region III round for the first time in program history.
Collegiate Academy Theater Director Chris Williamson said, “We are all feeling so proud to represent our great school at regionals. Making regionals has been a wonderful surprise, and I know the kids realize that their dedication and willingness to sacrifice their personal time has gotten us where we are.”
The competition will be held April 26 at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas. Good luck to CA’s fine arts students at Regionals!
