GCISD athletes from Colleyville Heritage and Grapevine high schools participated in the Area Track and Field meet, and 13 advanced to the Region 1-5A UIL meet, which will be held April 19-20 at PlainsCapital Park - Lowrey Field in Lubbock, Texas.

Wallace Bullock: Fourth place in 3200 Meters and fourth place in 1600 Meters
Brett Jacobs: First place in 800 Meters
Ryan Zucker: Fourth place in 400 Meters
Devin Payne, Brett Jacobs, Kai Pruitt and Ryan Zuckert: Third place in 4x400 Meter Relay
CHHS Girls:
Natali Velasquez: Third place in 3200 Meters and fourth place in 1600 Meters
Allie Love: Third place in 1600 Meters
GHS Boys:
Rondale Carridine: First place in 100 Meter Dash and second place in Meter Dash
Xavier Randolph, Ryan Hamilton, Dereon Burns, Rondale Carridine: Fourth place in 4x100 Meter Relay
Blue Schaper: Fourth place in High Jump
