Grapevine High School’s Mustang Robotics team was among the top 25 public school teams that competed at the UIL 5A FIRST Tech Challenge State Championship held March 21 in Belton, Texas.
Their determination, positive attitude and promotion of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) in their community earned them the 5A UIL Team Spirit Award. The award is presented to the team that best demonstrates good sportsmanship, expression of team identity, and gracious professionalism.
