GCISD’s Communications Department was recently recognized with 14 Star Awards, presented by the Texas School Public Relations Association for outstanding education communications and projects.
The awards were presented February 28 at the organization’s annual conference, and were selected from work produced throughout the 2022-2023 school year. In addition to one entry being named a Crystal Finalist, GCISD Communications came away with 10 Gold Star Awards and three Silver Star Awards. Every member of the team was recognized with at least one gold award, which qualified them for Best of Category in their respective categories.
