On February 3, GCISD wrestling teams competed at the District 5-5A Championship, where both Grapevine High School varsity boys and Colleyville Heritage High School varsity girls finished as runners up. In total, GCISD had ten students win individual championships and 26 qualify for the regional championship, which will be held February 9-10 at Frisco Independence High School. Additionally, CHHS Head Coach Daniel McCready was named District Coach Of The Year.
