Colleyville Heritage High School Football defeated Denton High School in the first round of the UIL 5A Division II playoffs, and advanced to the area round.
CHHS defense and special teams forced an impressive six turnovers in the first half of play, and the offense threw for over 100 passing yards in the first half, resulting in a final score of 71-13 over the Broncos. The Panthers will now face Abilene Cooper at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 17, at Newsom Stadium (3700 E Broad St, Mansfield, TX 76063). The winner of this game will play either Argyle High School or Abilene Wylie High School the following week in the regional round of playoffs.
