Three students from GCISD participated in the 2023 Lone Star Leadership Academy Camps.
The Academy provides students with a unique opportunity to learn about Texas leaders and what it means to be from the Lone Star State. The students talked with professionals who introduced them to different careers they could have in Texas. The Lone Star Leadership Academy Camp not only helps students add to their resume of academic achievements, but they are also able to develop leadership skills and bring home a wealth of information to supplement what they are learning in school.
