iUniversity Prep was among select North Texas schools invited to an exclusive autonomous car race organized by Cisco and Intel and held at Texas Motor Speedway in November.

Although the Indy Autonomous Challenge (IAC) race was unfortunately delayed by rain, students interacted with IAC university teams, viewed interactive STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) exhibitions, and heard from IAC chief executive officer Paul Mitchell about technology careers with local companies. They also talked with numerous engineers, interacted with helicopter and drone simulators, saw military drone aircraft, toured the Fort Worth Police Mobile Command Center, saw SWAT vehicles, viewed robotic demos and heard from a retired Blackhawk Pilot about how to become a pilot.
