A Letter of Thanks from the Thompson Family

To all of the Friends in the Grapevine Colleyville ISD Community,

We have been so appreciative of the outpouring of support and kind words shared about our father, Dr. James C. Thompson. Our family is planning a private memorial service during Thanksgiving when we can gather together in person. We would like to pass along a few ways for you to remember Dr. Thompson and help to carry on his legacy in education. The first is to register to vote and to vote in each election. The second way is to give to the school district’s education foundation. This is a way to support staff, which in turn helps the students. The money donated to the education foundation cannot be recaptured by the state. We thank you for sharing your memories of Dr. Thompson with us. It certainly has warmed our hearts to read all of them.
