On April 21, CHHS and GHS track and field teams competed at the Area Championship, where GCISD student athletes won four events overall and 12 advanced to the UIL Conference 5A Region 1 Championship at the PlainsCapital Park and Lowrey Fields in Lubbock on April 28-29.
