On April 21, the regular season of softball wrapped up, and both Colleyville Heritage High School and Grapevine High School softball teams are headed to the bi-district round of playoffs. CHHS placed second in district play with GHS following close behind in fourth.
The first round of playoffs begins on April 27, with a best-of-three series for both teams.
CHHS Softball versus Joshua:
Game one is on Thursday, April 27, when CHHS hosts Joshua at 7 p.m. Game two is on Friday, April 28, at Joshua with the first pitch at 6 p.m. If needed, a third game time and location will be decided.
GHS Softball versus Burleson Centennial:
Game one is on Friday, April 28, at Burleson Centennial with the first pitch at 7:30 p.m. Game two is on Saturday, April 29, hosted at GHS and begins at 2 p.m. If needed, a third game time and location will be decided.
The GHS baseball team swept Argyle the week of April 17 to clinch the District 7-5A Championship. District play wraps up Friday, April 28, and playoffs begin the week of May 1.
