Recovery Resource Council
Recovery Resource Council (formerly Tarrant Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse) was founded in 1957 by volunteers who were members of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) to serve individuals and families affected by alcoholism by offering information and referral services. Every year, we receive over 100,000 phone calls from people seeking help or their families. Recovery Resource Council offers two main areas of services to meet our mission of reducing drug and alcohol abuse: prevention/intervention education, case management and workplace services.
Chandler's Hope
Chandler’s Hope is a new ministry focused on providing resources for people affected by addiction. Our website at Chandlershope.org has links to support groups, government organizations, treatment centers, and a wide variety of prevention articles. We also host guest speakers for parents on signs, symptoms, and trends to educate the community about prevention.
The Recovery Village: Personalized Addiction Treatment
The Recovery Village website offers substance-specific information about drugs and alcohol, as well as treatment information.

Prevention Coalition is an informational site designed to educate parents, teachers and concerned community members about teen drug use and ways to prevent it.

The Gordie Foundation
The mission of the Gordie Foundation is to provide today’s young people with the skills to navigate the dangers of alcohol, binge drinking, peer pressure and hazing.The Gordie Foundation is dedicated to the memory of Gordie Bailey, who was an 18-year-old freshman at the University of Colorado when he died of alcohol poisoning as a result of a Chi Psi fraternity initiation ceremony for pledges on September 17, 2004.

This website and the Above the Influence ads you see on TV and in magazines are created for the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign (a program of the Office of National Drug Control Policy). This campaign reflects what teens across the country have told us is going on in their lives.
National Institute on Drug Abuse
NIDA's mission is to lead the Nation in bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction.
This charge has two critical components. The first is the strategic support and conduct of research across a broad range of disciplines. The second is ensuring the rapid and effective dissemination and use of the results of that research to significantly improve prevention, treatment and policy as it relates to drug abuse and addiction.

MADD was incorporated on September 5, 1980, the mission or purposes of MADD as stated in its Articles of Incorporation were “To aid the victims of crimes performed by individuals driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, to aid the families of such victims and to increase public awareness of the problem of drinking and drugged driving."
