CCMR serves as TEA's gauge for assessing students' preparedness for both college and career paths. It encompasses diverse opportunities allowing students to demonstrate their readiness for college, career, or military service. Tailored to individual strengths and ambitions, CCMR embraces a variety of criteria to accommodate each student's unique journey.

How to Meet the CCMR Measure

College Preparedness:
Students can fulfill the CCMR standard through diverse avenues, such as excelling in AP/IB exams, attaining requisite scores in assessments like SAT/ACT/TSIA2, completing college preparatory coursework, or obtaining industry-based certifications or level one certificates via CTE programs.

Career Preparedness:
For students inclined towards immediate career pursuits post high school, meeting the CCMR requirement involves acquiring industry certifications or level one or two certificates, showcasing proficiency and aptitude for employment across various sectors.

Military Preparedness:
Acknowledged within the CCMR framework is enlistment in the United States Armed Forces, marking a significant milestone for students opting for military service as their chosen path. This recognition honors their commitment and preparedness for military service.
