
STAAR testing is coming up on April 17 for many of our students. High school juniors will take the US History EOC, and the eighth grade students will take the social studies test.

The Bilingual Services Department is hosting a come-and-go registration support event for emergent bilingual families. Join us on Thursday, April 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the JPS Clinic Building (located behind Timberline Elementary at 3050 Timberline Drive, Grapevine, TX). This is a convenient opportunity to register your returning student for the 2025–26 school year in Skyward at your own pace.

The nine-month commitment of GCISD aspiring leaders in the 2024-2025 Future Ready Leadership Academy concluded this week. The program fosters strong leadership through development, rigorous learning experiences, and skill application, all of which were showcased in the participants' capstone project presentations. Today, Glenhope was glowing with excitement! Each grade level lit up their classrooms with black lights and neon decorations for glow-themed lessons and activities. The day kicked off with a neon pep rally celebrating the end of another nine weeks and the start of STAAR testing season. From there, students were immersed in a full day of learning all centered around the exciting theme: Let’s Glow, Gators! Check out this bright and engaging day of hands-on learning. #WeAreGCISD

Today’s GHS Multi-Cultural Fair was a celebration of the diverse cultures that make up Grapevine High School! From traditional clothing and music to delicious food and interactive exhibits, it was amazing to see students share and learn about cultures from around the world. #WeAreGCISD

Last night, the second cohort of Leadership GCISD learned about the Schools Team, which encompasses athletics, student services, fine arts, counseling, health services and the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. Attendees enjoyed the delicious pizza creations of our advanced culinary students provided by Wise Guys before embarking on a guided tour of the athletics, fine arts and CTE facilities.
