It’s the best week of the year: back to school time!

Say “hello” to two-way messaging and classroom announcements in the GCISD app! With the addition of Rooms, our district app keeps getting better. Parents/guardians check your email or sms with instructions to sign up and access new features.

Our Extended Day Program and Early Childhood Development Center employees are such an asset to our district, but because they are caring for our employees' children and our students, they aren't able to attend Convocation with the rest of our staff. To show our appreciation, we partnered with the city of Colleyville to provide $35 gift cards, which can be used at participating restaurants and retail businesses within the city. Thank you to our EDP and ECDC teams! #WeAreGCISD

There was a lot of learning happening last week with our new educators participating in GCISD’s New Employee Welcome. These are just some of the many things happening as we prepare to welcome our students on August 14!
