In honor of School Bus Safety Week, we are sharing important facts about bus safety. Have you ever wondered what the black lines on a school bus are for? They are impact-reinforcement rub rails, strategically placed at key locations on the bus. These rub rails are designed to assist rescue teams in quickly identifying safe areas to cut into the bus, providing additional access points in case doors or windows are not easily accessible.
