On Tuesday night, fourth and fifth graders from Colleyville Elementary unveiled their mural at the Colleyville Public Library, where Colleyville Mayor Bobby Lindamood Jr. began the ceremony with a ribbon cutting. The mural features paintings of the students' favorite storybook characters and can be viewed on the second floor of the Colleyville Public Library through April 26. #WeAreGCISD

Today is the day! Join us for Walk a Mile with GCISD from 6-7:30 p.m. at Mustang Panther Stadium, even if you can only drop in for a moment. GCISD staff, community leaders and families are all invited to fellowship and get a few steps in walking around the track. Bring the whole family, but please leave your furry friends at home to keep our stadium clean. Feel free to also bring a football, frisbee or soccer ball to have a little fun on the field.

Kinsey Vines and Katie Rosado competed in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation category and Hunter Somerman competed in Food Innovations. Kinsey and Katie placed in the top five, earning fifth place overall. Congratulations to these students on their achievements!
