Return to play information
Our area is still not able to return to play. Once more information is available we will notify registered athletes.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Are special Olympics events taking place this year?
Area 11 is not allowing in-person events at this time. Special Olympics is monitoring the number of COVID cases in each area to determine when it is safe for athletes and volunteers to return to in-person events.
2. When we return to play, will GCISD offer the same sports?
The sports being offered will depend on what sports Special Olympics approves to return to play and when our area is allowed to return to in-person play.
