Math Telescoping Information
What is Math Telescoping?
Telescoping is a process through which a student may accelerate in math beyond their enrolled grade level. Students must take an exam to show mastery of the skipped grade level content.
Registration
For the April and May testing, Registration opens March 7, 2025 at 8:00 AM and closes March 24, 2025 at NOON.
Testing Dates
Students taking the 2nd grade exam and students needing paper or oral accommodations will take the exam April 7 - 15, 2025.
Students taking the 3rd - 7th grade exams will be testing May 14 - 16, 2025.
Who can test?
Students in grades 1 - 7 are able to take the credit by exam to enter the Mathematics Telescoping program. Students meeting rubric criteria will receive an invitation to test.

Cost
The cost for registration is $40 per exam. There is a fee exemption for students who qualify for free and reduced services.
