GCISD is proud to announce that on Thursday, May 21, at 6:30 p.m. the Class of 2020 will take part in a special Senior Send-off Parade.

Parade Route (View Map)
The parade will travel north on Highway 26, beginning near the intersection of Hall-Johnson Road and concluding at Mustang Panther Stadium. The Colleyville Police Department will block the two right lanes of northbound Highway 26 for parade traffic, leaving the left lane open for regular thru traffic.

Seniors
Seniors from all GCISD high schools are encouraged to join the parade procession. Feel free to decorate your cars and show off your school spirit. All seniors participating should meet and stage in the Colleyville Towne Square parking lots (view map of lots available for staging). From there, Colleyville Police will lead the parade procession. Please keep in mind the following rules during the parade:

  • Do not throw candy from any vehicles
  • No trucks with trailers are allowed; this is a car parade only
  • No one can walk in the parade

Spectators
Spectators will only be allowed on the east side of Highway 26 and north of Hall-Johnson Road. All spectators are encouraged to maintain safe social distancing among themselves. No one should congregate on the west side of Highway 26 or in the median. GCISD staff are encouraged to spectate near the end of the parade route close to Mustang Panther Stadium.
