2020 Summer Learning and Engagement Update
District leaders of each program have considered the current guidelines related to COVID-19, the needs of students and the health and safety of students and staff in making decisions about the summer of 2020 Complete plans for all of GCISD's summer programs in 2020 can be found here.

All secondary summer school courses for this summer will be held remotely and the program will be limited to middle and high school students only. Middle school bridge and credit recovery will also be offered remotely for eligible students. Registration opened on May 11 and fees will apply.

Secondary Summer School

All GCISD students attending summer school must wear their GCISD student ID at all times.
The ID must be worn above the waist.

Registration is open to GCISD students only

Middle School Summer School Registration

For students who are/were in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade during the 2019-2020 school year if they were not successful during the school year.

Middle School Bridge Class Registration

For students who are/were in 6th or 7th grade during the 2019-2020 school year.

High School Summer School Registration

For students who are/were in 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade during the 2019-2020 school year
